Southern Inc. is a fully licensed and insured general contractor and electrical contractor in the state of North Carolina. Southern specializes in custom modular home construction along the Outer Banks North Beaches.

Southern is the builder of choice in the four-wheel drive area. Our set-up crews, trim carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and drywall mechanics ensure that your home is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. We have the latest equipment including our own crane, Telehandler fork lift, pump jacks, and scaffolding, as well as electrical and plumbing parts trailers. This onsite equipment means additional savings for you.

Modular homes are limited only by a designer’s imagination. We have completed oceanfront homes as large as 4400 square feet, with nine bedrooms and nine baths; three-story canal-front retreats, and single family year-round residences. We offer large units suitable for high volume rental as well as smaller homes for retirement-minded folks.
